Scandinavian Gaming Show 2022 - Day Two Recap
2 minutos de lectura
(Copenhague).- Day two’s official proceedings of the 4th annual Scandinavian Gaming Show, taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark at the Carlsberg Museum & Business Centre, saw participants continue meaningful discussions and connections formed during day one, over their morning refreshments.

Chairperson Jan Feuerhake, Salary Partner at Taylor Wessing, once again welcomed speakers and attendees before Lasse Offersen, Trademark Strategist at Otmore, delivered the day’s first presentation which focussed on trademarks and how to protect your brand online.
‘How will Scandinavian operators deal with challenges linked to responsible gambling and money laundering’ was the topic of the opening panel discussion, moderated by Trevor De Giorgio, Head of Regulatory Compliance for Play'n GO.
A networking tea break was followed by another panel discussion. The focus of the discussion was how to build an efficient SEO strategy for highly saturated and competitive Scandinavian markets (regulated and unregulated). This time the moderator was Ivana Flynn, SEO Director of ComeOn Group.
Minna Ripatti, Founding Partner of Legal Gaming Oy, moderated the next panel discussion that examined the current state of play for gambling in Finland - recent developments and future opportunities before participants continued to connect over lunch.
The day’s final two panel discussions took place after lunch. Prior to that, Peter-Paul de Goeij, Managing Director of The Netherlands Online Gambling Association, commented on the day’s proceedings as they began to reach their conclusion:
“Again, a very good and insightful day - the second day of the Scandinavian Gaming Summit 2022 in Copenhagen. This morning we learned more about AML and RG challenges, the difference between word- and trademark protection and efficient SEO strategies for Scandinavian gambling markets. Very much looking forward to the closing panel of SGS2022 with my industry friends discussing how we can improve consumer protection.”
The first of the final discussions, moderated by Krister Malm, Founder & Group CEO of Oddsium, centred on the notion that Content is king and creating content that appeals to a wider audience and is adapted for local markets. Peter-Paul de Goeij moderated the final discussion about how to effectively improve consumer protection, as stated earlier.
Chairperson Jan Feuerhake brought the highly-successful SGS 2022 event to an end with his closing remarks.
Yudi Soetjiptadi, Managing Director of Eventus International, concluded:
“We feel very honoured to have the opportunity to host this prestigious event in a beautiful place such as Carlsberg Museum & Business Centre in Copenhagen. We have received positive feedback regarding the content quality, high-level speaker line-up and high-profile audience. We are pleased to announce that the next edition of SGS will be hosted in Stockholm, Sweden, from 16 - 17 November 2023, and we look forward to welcoming all back next year to what promises to be another memorable event!”
